Capstone Guidelines

Capstone is a time for you to complete your dream project. By this time, you should have an idea of what part of DMA inspires you the most. This may have come from a project you liked, or working with another student or faculty member. In any case, the project should be FUN and not seem like work.

A critical part of capstone is the connection between what you do in the classroom and the real world. Consequently, you will gain the most benefit from capstone if you complete a real world project. That is, your project should serve a person or an organization in some way.

I can facilitate a connection between you and this real world counterpart, or you can seek one out yourself. Whenever possible, projects are posted on the project request list page.

The Capstone consists of four parts

  1. Final Project
  2. Portfolio
  3. Mock Interview
  4. Research project
